| Don’t you love to wine down?? I know we do!! Every last Saturday of the month the Black Owned Business & Excellence (BOBE) Awards host a networking social at a new black owned venue. This month they will be showing love at Pocket Change, who, although is not a brand-new venue, now has a new location at 1519 Baxter Avenue. Pocket Changes sales over 40 different black business products, host workshops, offers free small business and non-profit startup help, co-working space, free Wi-Fi, free self-serve apparel printing and so much more! Each networking event highlights different industries of business with this month focusing on hair, skin and nails. Some of the panelist include Nakeita Tilford, owner of Exclusive Nails, Tiffany Elle, owner of Sensual Bliss and Dawanna Broussard-Clarkson, owner of D’Luxe Hair & Cuts. Vendors also include The Journeys Haircare Solutions and Happy Kamper Sea Moss Gel. Speed networking, mentor matchups, giveaways, wine and hors d’oeuvres are all included in Saturday’s event.
